Tim Healey

Actor Tim Healey is a star of stage and screen.  Best known for his role in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet he is arguably one of the most famous faces to hale from the North East and has been an avid supporter of the charity since the very beginning. 
 

Denise Welch

Denise is also a proud patron of Hope 4 Kidz in her native North East and is known nationwide for her TV appearances in shows such as Coronation Street and Waterloo Road, as well as her presenting role on ITV’s Loose Women.  
 

Vin Welch

Vin is the head of the Welch acting dynasty, which includes his daughter Denise, and has clocked up dozens of appearances on stage and screen, including roles in Heartbeat, The Bill, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.  
 

Peter Grant

Jazz musician Peter Grant is one of the UK’s rising stars and has appeared at many of Hope 4 Kidz’s fundraising events, both as a performer and an invited guest.  
 

Bernice Saltzer, Sorted PR

Former journalist and leading public relations expert Bernice Saltzer has been involved with Hope 4 Kidz since its original conception and her company Sorted Public Relations currently handles publicity on the charity’s behalf.  
 

Christian Glenwright
World famous magician Christian Glenwright is a former British Grand Prix Champion of Magic and has provided entertainment at several of the charity’s fundraising events.  
 

Ursula Apreda
Sunderland artist Ursula Apreda is renowned around the world for her unique paintings and murals and supports Hope 4 Kidz work to reach young people through creativity.  
 

Lyndyann Barass


Lyndyann Barass, aka Spuggie in Byker Grove, now lives in Sunderland where Hope 4 Kidz is based and is a strong supporter of the charity’s work in the area.
